Vancouver Island Exit Survey

Tourism Vancouver Island has finished work on the 2008 Vancouver Island Exit Survey; a year-long project partly funded by Service Canada and partnered with Tourism BC, BC Ferries Corporation and Vancouver Island University.

The project was completed in November 2008 and incorporates data collection at 13 regional exit points including BC Ferries termini, regional airports, float plane termini, and additional marine locations as appropriate. Over 4000 visitors took part in the survey with around 2300 completed questionnaires which has been analyzed and is available for downloading.

This is the first exit survey of its kind in the Province since 1996 providing the Vancouver Island region with valuable market information which will be shared with the project partners and regions stakeholders.
